Graduate Civil Engineer

We have exciting opportunities for Graduate Civil Engineers to join the H&MV Engineering Team. As a Graduate Civil Engineer at H&MV Engineering, you will be exposed to all aspects of Civil & Structural Engineering as determined by the scope of the Company’s HV Infrastructure projects.

Specific Responsibilities:

• Support the management of Civil & Structural design by consultants in tandem with the in-house electrical design team

• Assist with the Production of Civil & Structural drawings and calculations

• Project engineering; Liaising with the project manager on planning and delivery of Civil & Structural Engineering

• Client interfacing

• Assistance with procurement and supply chain

• Assistance with Tendering

• Ensure compliance with Quality controls and procedures

• Ensure compliance with Health and Safety Regulations and Procedures

• Setting out of works according to contract drawings, preparing drawings and calculations as required

• Inspection, Audit, Supervision and Approval of Civil & Structural works

• Maintaining records and production of project documentation

• Travel to sites throughout Ireland and short-term residencies on sites during contestable works expected

Skills / Requirements:

• Civil Engineering Degree

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Strong analytically

• Leadership qualities

• Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365

• Self-Motivated with an eagerness to progress within the industry

• Full Clean Driving License

Limerick, Cork or Dublin Office.
