Development Programmes

  • Apprentice Development Programme

    H&MV Engineering have a unique Apprentice Development Programme for on-the-job phases of the SOLAS Electrical Apprenticeship. This is a purpose built training, developmental and educational programme for High Voltage Apprentice Electricians and will be rolled out to all our apprentices.

    The modules covered in the apprentice development programme include: Stations, Safety, Protection and Control, Maintenance, Commissioning, Cables and Design.

    This programme has been designed to provide our apprentices with the ideal forum to learn and develop the skills and knowledge required within the High voltage specialist services industry through mentoring, encouragement and assessment.

    Our Graduate Development Plan is focused on honing in on the skills and knowledge that graduates gained through their education, with the aim of moulding them into accomplished and experienced Electrical Engineers through design and commissioning based roles.

    H&MV also offer our Graduates the opportunity to become members of Engineers Ireland, and assist them with the process of becoming Chartered Engineers. We currently have opportunities for Graduate Electrical Engineers to join our design hubs in Limerick, Dublin and Cork. Graduates who would like site based roles are welcome to apply as we have a number of opportunities for graduate commissioning engineers.
