H&MV Engineering has appointed Ken Gilmartin as Executive Vice President as the global high-voltage engineering and critical power infrastructure company accelerates its expansion in the U.S.
Based in Dallas, Ken will lead H&MV’s U.S. operations and help drive the company’s next phase of growth as it expands its team, capabilities, customer base and project portfolio across the country.
Ken brings extensive senior leadership experience across engineering, infrastructure and energy markets. Most recently, he served as Chief Executive Officer of Wood, a global consulting and engineering company. Prior to this, he held a number of senior leadership positions with Jacobs.
His appointment comes as H&MV significantly expands its US presence. The company entered the market in 2025, acquired Texas-based Cooke Power Services in January 2026 and will open its headquarters in Dallas later this year. H&MV is already delivering high-voltage projects across the U.S. spanning data centres, utilities, energy and renewable infrastructure.
The appointment follows a new investment transaction announced earlier this month valuing H&MV at approximately €1.4 billion and providing long-term backing for its international growth.
P.J. Flanagan, CEO of H&MV Engineering, said: “I am delighted to welcome Ken to H&MV as Executive Vice President, U.S. His appointment reflects the scale of our ambition in the U.S., and he brings the leadership, experience, market knowledge and track record to help us deliver on that ambition. With a growing presence across the U.S., our Dallas headquarters opening shortly and a strong project portfolio, we are entering an exciting new phase of growth. This is a very exciting time for the business.”
Ken Gilmartin, Executive Vice President, H&MV Engineering, said: “I am delighted to join H&MV as the business enters an important new phase of growth in the U.S. H&MV has achieved a huge amount in a relatively short period and there is a significant opportunity ahead. I look forward to working with the team, our customers and partners to strengthen our capabilities, grow the business and build on H&MV’s success in the U.S.”
