Client Challenges.
As part of the CON 885 Turnkey Framework, ESB Networks required a competent contractor to complete the EPC delivery of the 220 kV GIS substation at Killonan Co. Limerick. This was the first project awarded from the CON 885 Framework.
Our Solution.
- H&MV Engineering’s scope included detailed design, procurement, supply, installation, and commissioning of the DNO 220 kV GIS Substation, and PSDP and PSCS were appointed for the project.
- A full 3D model of the station is being prepared as part of the design process.
- Responsible for issuing the Integrated Test Plans (ITPs), Construction Management Plans, Quality Plans, and Safety Management Plan. H&MV Engineering were responsible for safety & risk management throughout the project lifecycle and produced a complete set of electrical as-built drawings and handover file.
