Client Challenges.
Statnett required construction of a new greenfield 420 /300 /132 kV substation in Norway’s Rogaland region. The harsh Norwegian winter conditions presented challenges to meeting the project schedule. Strict deadlines for energisation were required for the project.
Our Solution.
- H&MV provided a full turnkey solution for the electrical design and construction of the new Fagrafjell 420/300/132 kV substation.
- A detailed 3D model of the substation was developed as part of the design process.
- As Principal Contractor, H&MV issued the Integrated Test Plans (ITPs), Construction Management Plans, Quality Plans, Safety Management Plan, and Temporary Works Register.
- Our experience delivering projects in harsh environments allowed us to overcome winter conditions and meet critical timelines. Responsible for issuing the Integrated Test Plans (ITPs), Construction Management Plans, Quality Plans, and Safety Management Plan. H&MV Engineering were responsible for safety & risk management throughout the project lifecycle and produced a complete set of electrical as-built drawings and handover file.
