We were pleased to share our latest ESG Report on World Earth Day. This report reflects on the progress we’ve made, the lessons learned, and the commitments we continue to pursue.
Environmental Impact
We are committed to accelerating the transition to a low-carbon future by playing our part in the transition to a sustainable future. Our technology plays a pivotal part in integrating clean energy sources into the power grid.
We continuously work towards reducing our Carbon Footprint in order to achieve our goal of Net Zero by 2045. Over the past year, we focused on actionable initiatives across energy efficiency, fleet management, sustainable design, waste management, and environmental protection.
Some of our key highlights include:
- Increase of Renewable Energy produced by solar panels at our offices.
- 4.49 tCO2e avoided from Eco-fleet.
- 153 Acres of Habitat restored for Biodiversity.
- Integration of Sustainable Design principles across a number of projects.
- Over €1000 raised by staff from Re-turn Scheme implemented across our offices and sites.
Social Responsibility
Our people are at the core of our ESG strategy. Safety, as one of our core values, is of the utmost importance in our organisation. We implement and maintain a high standard of health and safety across the breadth of our operations and continuously work to improve our practices to provide a safe working environment for our workforce and ensure their overall well-being.
We are dedicated to fostering a diverse and inclusive workforce where every individual is met with respect, value, and provided with equal opportunities to grow.

Great Governance
At H&MV Engineering, embedding strong governance is ensures a robust foundation of sustainable and responsible business. Our governance practices ensure alignment with our organisational values and sustainability objectives.
Our ESG Committee are key in managing strategic direction, and ethical business conduct is embedded within our company culture and growth.
Over the year, we continued to strengthen our transparency and accountability, and sustainable leadership in our ESG Committee.
- Integration of Chief People Officer, and Group HSE Director into the ESG Committee.
- ISO 27001 certification, strengthening our Data Protection practices.
- Achieving a C in our second CDP disclosure; an increase of two grades.
- Driving efficiency and innovation through Digital Transformation and Automated Workflows.
Despite the changes outlined by the EU Omnibus package as it pertains to the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive, we remain committed to aligning our processes with the European Sustainability Reporting Standards for our future reporting requirements and will produce a version of the CSRD for 2026.
Looking ahead
While we are proud of the progress made over the past year, we recognise that there is much more to do. In 2025, we are focused on:
- Publish our Net Zero transition plan
- Increasing our consumption and production of Renewable Energy
- Continue to educate and support all our stakeholders on the importance of ESG
- Science Based Target setting which will help us with our Net Zero Transition
- Reducing our Fleet Emissions
- Achieving Zero Waste to Landfill across our regions of operations
- Increasing restored habitats for Biodiversity
- Promoting and maintaining a diverse and inclusive environment
- Improving our transparency and accountability through Sustainability Reporting
